Tom Heveron Sr. 500 Memorial Race Set for January 14

The Tom Heveron Sr. 500 Memorial race is scheduled for January 14 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Organized by Old Farts Sim Racing (OFSR), the Tom Hevron 500 honors the memory of Tom Heveron, father of Doug and Tom, Jr., co-founder of the International Super Modified Association and a long-time member of OFSR.
The Tom Heveron 500 Memorial features the current Chevy Silverado and Toyota Tundra trucks racing for 207 laps on Charlotte Motor Speedway’s 1.5 mile oval at night. Practice gets underway at 7 pm eastern followed at 8 pm by a two-lap qualifying session with the green flag set to wave on the race at 8:10 pm.
