THIS WEEK: Skip Barber Formula iRacing Series Hot Lap Qualifier at Circuit of the Americas

iRacing and the Skip Barber Racing School are pleased to once again team up for the 2024 Skip Barber Formula iRacing Series. As in past seasons, drivers will compete in iRacing’s Formula 4 car for prizes valued at more than $500,000, headlined by the opportunity to run in the real-world Skip Barber Formula Race Series next year. Each week, interested drivers can compete in a Hot Lap Qualifier using our Time Attack mode for a chance to be invited to next week’s race.

This week, the Hot Lap Qualifier sends drivers to Circuit of the Americas. Each Hot Lap Qualifier is active from Friday at 12AM ET to Sunday at 11:59PM ET. The entry fee for each Hot Lap Qualifier is $20, and the top 20 drivers on the Time Attack leaderboard will be invited to run each race. They’ll also get to take part in an open test with Skip Barber Racing School instructors on hand to provide feedback. The race itself will run next Thursday at 7PM ET, with an official live broadcast on iRacing.com/live and across iRacing social media channels.
