December 4th, 2023 by Justin Melillo
Welcome back to This Week in iRacing, our weekly post that details all you need to know about what is going on in the world of iRacing!
It’s a special Week 13 edition of the post as the service gears up for the latest build and new content for members to enjoy. As always, This Week includes topics ranging from official eSports to some of the top community-driven events, and everything in between.
Here’s what you should know for Week 13 of 2023 Season 4, from December 5th to the 11th.
For the Members: iRacing Official Series Highlights
Every week, iRacing offers daily, even hourly racing that members can get into, based on where their license level is at. There are also some special series that run at specific times that anyone can jump into, with the right credentials, that offer a more meaningful sim racing experience. While many of the main series have ended their battles for Season 4, there will still be plenty to jump into during Week 13, both official and unofficial.
Here are a few of the highlighted series taking place this week.

Week 5 will feature the 1987 cars at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Official iRacing eSports
As the calendar year comes to a close, most of the official iRacing eSports are either on hiatus or gearing up for their 2024 seasons. IMSA Esports only has one race to go, in the middle of December. The eNASCAR College iRacing Series won’t return until January 2024. Before the end of the year, however, there will be three more iRacing World of Outlaws events to watch, the next one scheduled for Monday night.
iRACING WORLD OF OUTLAWS THRUSTMASTER SPRINT CAR SERIES
Thrustmaster is onboard for the 2023-24 season of the iRacing World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. The top of the standings were shook last week when the incoming points leader, Alex Bergeron, failed to qualify for the feature race. Timothy Smith had a perfect night, leading every lap after putting down the fastest lap in qualifying, winning convincingly at Williams Grove. Next up for the top ranked dirt oval drivers is a trip to Lincoln Speedway, also in Pennsylvania, for Race #4 of the season.
LINCOLN SPEEDWAY RACE #4 – BROADCAST STARTS AT 9:00 PM ET (02:00 GMT)
