For the fourth consecutive year, iRacing and the National MS Society teamed up to raise money in the 4th Annual MS Charity Race. Featuring a mix of GT3s and Street Stocks on Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, a host of real-world racing stars—including Dale Earnhardt Jr., Tony Kanaan, and Chad Knaus—did battle with top streamers and iRacing staff like executive VP Steve Myers in the broadcast race, while other members did battle in the first of five public race splits on offer this week.

So far, between three different donation pages—the main donation page, penalties in Wednesday’s broadcast split, and the all-important chocolate chip vs. oatmeal raisin cookie poll—the event has raised $40,808 as of noon ET on Thursday.
