Thomas Hazard entered the JoeTheShoe 120 at Phoenix International Raceway leading the GSRacing.net Truck Series on Thursday night by a single point. At the end of the night, he not only left with his point lead intact but also with the checkered flag. Hazard captured his league-leading fourth victory of the season by taking the win in the penultimate online race of the 2011-12 campaign. 2011 NASCAR iRacing.com Series World Champion Ray Alfalla chased Hazard to the line at the finish, ending-up two tenths off Hazard at the completion of the 120-lap affair. Kevin King rebounded from an earlier accident to finish third, besting Jon Adams and Brandon Buchberger at the checkered silk.

Can you say -- or see -- .2s? That was Hazard's MOV over Alfalla at PIR.

Brian Schoenburg started the JoeTheShow 120 from the pole position with a time of 27.442 seconds while Alfalla led the most laps of the event as he paced the field for 49 of the 120 circuits. Eight leaders swapped the lead eight times while the caution flew a total of 11 times. Alfalla advanced his 28th starting position by 26 positions to take the Hard Charger Award, while Schoenburg was the top driver running a Tim’s Corner Motorsports logo on his truck as a part of the Tim’s Corner Challenge. Chad Coleman leads the standings in that six race miniseries over Richard Beasley with just one race to go. The JoeTheShow 120 took one hour, 22 minutes to complete.

Schoenburg (26) started from pole but slipped to tenth at the finish.

With just one race to go in the GSRacing.net Truck Series itself, Hazard leads the point chase by 12 points over Danny Hansen following the latter’s seventh place finish at Phoenix. Brandon Kettelle falls to third, 14 points behind Hazard while Dylan Duval (Halifax, NS) sits 25 points behind the point lead heading into the season finale at Atlanta. Kettelle and Duval finished 11th and 18th respectively in the JoeTheShow 120.
