Registration for the eRacing Association Omega Cup Fall Bowl, eRA’s third event of 2023 in its premier Omega Cup series, is open now. Racers can join eRA as a member and RSVP to compete through September 15 for two days of tournament-style racing from Martinsville Speedway in the NASCAR Cup Series Next Gen car on September 18 and 20, with $5,000 in prizes on the line for eRA members and a live broadcast of the feature airing across all official iRacing pages.

Omega Bowl events are some of the biggest independently run events on iRacing. Interested competitors must first sign up for an eRacing Association membership, which covers their entry to all Omega Cup events. From there, it’s off to heat races, where 50 drivers will earn a shot at qualifying for Wednesday’s feature. But there’s still one more step in the process on Wednesday: two-lap single-car qualifying, where the top 40 drivers will secure a spot in the feature—which will total 150 laps at Martinsville—and the bottom 10 will go home.

The top five finishers in each Omega Cup split the $5,000 prize pool, with the winner taking home the lion’s share of $4,000 and the rest split among the top five. eRA’s most recent Omega Cup event saw eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series driver Vicente Salas take top honors in the Summer Bowl from Charlotte Motor Speedway in May, becoming the winningest driver in Omega Cup history in the process. In addition, 2023 eNASCAR playoff driver Michael Guest won the Spring Bowl from Daytona in February.

Following the Omega Cup Fall Bowl, the eRacing Association Omega Cup will stage one more event in December: the Winter Bowl from Phoenix Raceway. New members who register for an eRA membership before RSVPing to the Fall Bowl will only need to RSVP to compete in the Winter Bowl.
