Registration for the Spring Semester of the 2024-25 eNASCAR College iRacing Series presented by Playfly College Esports is now open. The first race in 2025 comes at Watkins Glen, in the Xfinity Series cars, on January 21st. The Time Attack opens January 7th.

The Fall Semester saw four intense events at Daytona, LOIRP, Kansas, and Michigan, with The University of Maine at Augusta’s Parker White, the University of Iowa’s Steven Wilson, Cal State Fullerton’s Logan Clampitt, and the University of Michigan’s Matthew Zwack all scoring respective victories.

Prospective collegiate iRacers will once again run the gauntlet of iRacing Time Attacks to attempt to qualify for the upcoming four events of the season, with 10 days to lay down their best times with each car-track combination. The top-40 eligible drivers will be invited to compete in the A-Main, where they’ll be able to compete for cash scholarships and season-long points, while B-Main and subsequent races will be on the line for those who don’t make the cut.

When the season ends, the four best results from every driver in both the Fall and Spring Semesters will be recorded, and the top-25 collegiate iRacers will advance to the championship round at Homestead-Miami, and a chance at a $10,000 scholarship.

REMAINING SCHEDULE:

Four races are slated in the Spring Semester, racing at Watkins Glen, Talladega, Iowa, and Charlotte, alternating between the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series vehicles. The series will also move back to 8:00 pm ET start times in the Spring—a change from the one hour earlier shows from the Fall due to the doubleheaders with the eNASCAR Contender iRacing Series.

Last season Iowa’s Steven Wilson and UNC at Charlotte’s Garrett Lowe went to war at The Glen. At Talladega, Michigan and Ohio State battled while UNC at Charlotte stole the show with Lowe in victory lane. Two years ago, Logan Clampitt put the Saddleback Bobcats in victory lane at Iowa. Finally, Liberty University’s Austin Farr defeated the pros at Charlotte back in October of 2023.

Of course, last season also ended with a championship finale at Homestead-Miami. In the year of Steven Wilson, the Hawkeye defeated Cal State Fullerton’s Clampitt, UNC at Charlotte’s Lowe, and 22 other hopefuls to take the 2023-24 title, complete with a $10,000 scholarship.

Don’t forget about the We Got Wheels Giveaway, either! Every round, there’s one giveaway that goes out to one attempting driver.

Registered competition drivers who complete at least one attempt during a Time Attack event will be automatically entered for a chance to win a prize pack, including a Logitech G923 TRUEFORCE Racing Wheel and Pedal sets for Xbox/PC and $30 in iRacing credits!

PAINT CONTEST:

Starting on the same day as the Watkins Glen Time Attack (January 7th) and running through March 18th, school spirit will be the name of the game in the eNASCAR College iRacing Series School Spirit paint contest!

During the contest dates, any A-Main, B-Main, or C-Main drivers in the eNASCAR College iRacing Series presented by Playfly College Esports can submit their paint. The best ones will win iRacing credits, and any approved submissions of drivers that make the championship race will be allowed to run at Homestead-Miami on April 15th.

Collegiate racers will be painting on the NASCAR Xfinity Series cars, and even if those drivers don’t make it to the championship round, we’ll still show off the favorites live during the race.

Don’t forget to tune into each stream, live on Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m. ET at eNASCAR.com/live, on the Playfly College Esports Twitch channel, and across all of iRacing’s social media channels.

About the Series: The eNASCAR College iRacing Series presented by Playfly College Esports gives college students from the United States and Canada the opportunity to compete for their share of $60,000 in scholarships. Using machines from the NASCAR Xfinity Series or NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, 40 drivers qualify for the event by registering here and posting their fastest lap times in a two-week Time Attack through the iRacing UI. With hundreds of colleges and universities represented in each Time Attack and a limitation on the amount of qualified drivers per school, drivers are competing not only against the greater iRacing community, but also their own classmates, for a spot on the prestigious grid.
