The eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series returns to action after a three-week break on Tuesday night with a visit to Nashville Superspeedway. As always, race coverage begins at 9PM ET at eNASCAR.com/live and across iRacing social media channels, while Countdown to Green will kick off at 8:30PM ET to preview the action.
Last Race: Charlotte Phoenix driver Graham Bowlin survived a yellow flag by the skin of his teeth—entering the pits just seconds before the caution lights illuminated—to take his first win of the season three weeks ago at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway. Bowlin led 97 of the race’s 120 laps and built a lead of more than two seconds over 2019 series champion Zack Novak at race’s end.
Last Year: Nashville Superspeedway’s first-ever eNASCAR round was actually an exhibition, as the 2021 All-Star Race celebrated the track’s revival and debut on iRacing. Top honors in the inaugural event went to current Rise eSports driver Jimmy Mullis, who made a thrilling last-lap pass on Team Dillon eSports’ Corey Vincent to secure the victory.
Track Facts: The 1.333-mile Nashville Superspeedway opened in 2001, hosting the NASCAR Xfinity and Camping World Truck Series and open-wheel races for the better part of a decade. The concrete tri-oval features 14-degree banking in the corners, and drivers who tame it are traditionally awarded custom Gibson Les Paul guitars for race wins. The track sat dormant from 2012 until 2021, when it reopened to host its first-ever NASCAR Cup Series event that June.
Next Race: Following Nashville, the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series returns to Road America on Tuesday, July 5 at 9PM ET. The track made its eNASCAR debut in 2021, and saw two of the top road course racers in the series—Mitchell deJong and Bobby Zalenski—finish in the top two spots. deJong led all but two of the race’s 31 laps to win by more than six seconds.
