Wilson, or White? White, or Wilson?

Everywhere you turn, those are the two names constantly on top of the eNASCAR world as we enter the first short track event of the 2025 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series.

Granted, Steven Wilson (Spire Motorsports) currently has a 2-0 lead over Parker White (Atlassian Williams Sim Racing) in terms of race victories now following Interlagos more than two weeks ago. White, however, as the defending series champion until someone takes it from him, hasn’t had a finish outside the top-five since Pocono in July last season. That’s nearly eight-straight months of consistency to consider, on top of all of the other factors involved.

While the two most-recent champions and their respective teams have a hold on the top of the eNASCAR Power Rankings once again entering Richmond Raceway, many familiar names are settling in above and around the top-10. Here’s how the Power Rankings look as the series dives into the second-to-last race of the opening Segment on Tuesday night.

RICHMOND DRIVER POWER RANKINGS | Wilson wins second race, moves back to top

If not for Steven Wilson, we might be talking about either a Vicente Salas victory (Kanaan Esports) or yet another road course victory by Bobby Zalenski (ERA eSports Team). Both drivers made huge gains in the Power Rankings this week after both not having the greatest start to 2025. Salas, in particular, got the pole at Las Vegas, but was relegated to a 30th place finish after getting collected in some calamity. At Interlagos, Salas played the invert perfectly to get the pole and win the heat race. He couldn’t hold off Wilson or Zalenski in the main race, but his efforts have him ranked inside the top-20 once again.

Two former champions had solid runs at Interlagos, with Casey Kirwan (Kansas City Pioneers) holding off Parker White for about the entire main event to finish in fourth, while Zack Novak (Channel 199 Sim Racing) ran inside the top-eight the entire day, finishing right ahead of his teammate Dylan Duval, who also moves back into the Power Rankings this week.

The numbers really helped Dylan Ault (HYAK Motorsports) jump up the order, from 20th to 11th. Jordy Lopez (BS+COMPETITION) set the fastest lap in qualifying, which meant he inverted to start in eighth, but finished sixth at the end of the main event, which also gives him a boost in the Power Rankings this week.

It was a bad week for a couple of early favorites, although they were admittedly not expecting to do well at Interlagos. Both Femi Olatunbosun (Spire Motorsports) and Malik Ray (Vegas Inferno) had races to forget in Brazil. Ray failed to finish, while Olatunbosun clawed to a 29th. Donovan Strauss had a tough night as well, finishing 32nd at the end of things after a solid showing in the race prior at Las Vegas.

Finally, Michael Cosey Jr (ERA eSports Team) had no change this week in the Power Rankings. While he only managed a 13th, I’ve got him circled at Richmond, the place where he scored his first career pole position and victory, albeit a heat race win and not an actual race win. Cosey Jr knows these short tracks and his consistency so far in the season may just be the confidence he needs to break through on Tuesday night.

RICHMOND TEAM POWER RANKINGS | Spire again on top, HYAK breaks into top-five

With Wilson’s second win, Spire Motorsports is back on top of the Team Power Rankings just slightly over the newly-renamed Atlassian Williams Sim Racing outlet. The actual Team Standings reflect Atlassian Williams on top by seven points, but that mostly comes from Wilson giving up a full race at Las Vegas with internet woes.

Those two are the clear favorites so far, but the battle for third took a huge turn after the Vegas Inferno fell off hard at Interlagos. The Malik Ray and Michael Guest combination fell down to 10th in the actual standings, and thus fell down to 10th in the Power Rankings as well. Taking their place is a team that’s shown solid consistency in the last two races with their two drivers Zack Novak and Dylan Duval—Channel 199 Sim Racing.

The Travis Pastrana-backed outlet rebranded during the off-season, keeping their anchor in Duval while adding a former champion to the stable. That 2019 series champion now sits second in the standings after three races, having led races while maintaining a consistent presence up front. This could be the year Novak breaks back into eNASCAR victory lane.

While Kirwan is also maintaining a presence at the front, currently ranked third in the points, his teammate Graham Bowlin, just months removed from having a chance to win a title, is having one of the roughest starts imaginable. Incidents seemingly out of his control at both Daytona and Las Vegas had Bowlin begging for mercy immediately, but apparent computer issues at Interlagos compounded the trouble, which means the Pioneers as a whole sit lower in the points and Power Rankings than they probably should be.

Kevin Harvick Inc. has been a consistent force as well so far this season. Jimmy Mullis is currently inside the top-10 in the standings while Matt Bussa sits in a three-way tie for 20th after three races. Nothing flashy yet, but they are there and both drivers know how to win in this league. HYAK Motorsports is a team I didn’t have circled before the season, but make no mistake, the pairing of veteran Dylan Ault and rookie Quentin Warman has been pretty good so far. Ault has seemingly shed his bad luck from prior seasons, currently inside the top-10 in points, while Warman leads the rookie group thus far, 16th in the standings.

BS+COMPETITION moves back into the Power Rankings with a strong showing from Jordy Lopez and a solid outing from the newest NASCAR Euro Series competitor, Garrett Lowe at Interlagos. They bumped Jim Beaver eSports after Kollin Keister, the Las Vegas winner, had a night to forget, and his teammate Nate Stewart did not do as well as I expected, given his road racing roots in other series around the sim.
