Back to Australia

The Late Model Road Racing World Series is back to Australia for its 6th round at the now gone Oran Park Raceway. The online race will be broadcast live on latemodelroad.com this Sunday at 22:30 GMT.
The figure-eight shaped, anticlockwise circuit, which was put down in 2010 to make room for a housing development after 48 years of racing history, had it’s facility laser scanned and virtually rebuilt by iRacing.com and will now host a weekend of intense online stock car racing.
The last round at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course saw Strodtbeck climb three positions in the series standings after taking pole position and victory. Prado kept his string of second place finishes and Rasch took a good 3rd place, having started from the 8th spot on the grid. Martini and Dietzel rounded out the top five for the race.
With five rounds down in the season, Prado leads the series standings with 80 points, followed closely by Maillard with 73. Martini now occupies the 3rd spot with 60 points and Rasch, just one point behind him, sits in 4th. Vallius closes the top five with 55 points.
Remember to tune in to latemodelroad.com this Sunday at 22:30 GMT to catch all the live action.
