All’s Well that Ends Well

Ty Majeski’s Wednesday evening got off to a disappointing start when he finished P13 in the opening round of the Super Late Model doubleheader in the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway. But Majeski capped the evening with a spectacular performance in the iRacing.com Ford Fusion in the nightcap 35 lap race. Starting 24th, Majeski worked his way up to P13 as the midpoint of the race neared, only to get spun and start working his way back to the front again. In the remaining 21 laps he passed all but three cars to come home fourth. Those finishes leave Majeski in second place in the overall standings of the SLM division of the World Series, just three points behind Steve Wallace.
The competition continues with a 50 lap race tonight, followed by another 35 lap event Friday before the World Series concludes with a 100 lap finale on Saturday. Catch all the action on FansChoice.tv tonight beginning at 7:30 pm eastern time.
