The eNASCAR College iRacing Series presented by Playfly College Esports is set to end the 2024-25 Regular Season on Tuesday night. This week, 40 collegiate drivers qualified into the A-Main race through the official Time Attack, and will compete for their share of scholarship money and championship points at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This is the last chance for all drivers to position themselves in the top-25 to qualify for the Championship Event at Homestead-Miami.

The students will take on the final Regular Season challenge in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series machines in NASCAR’s virtual backyard. The eighth race of the season will stream live on Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m. ET at eNASCAR.com/live and across all of iRacing’s social media channels.

About the Series: The eNASCAR College iRacing Series presented by Playfly College Esports gives college students from the United States and Canada the opportunity to compete for their share of $60,000 in scholarships. Using machines from the NASCAR Xfinity Series or NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, 40 drivers qualify for the event by registering here and posting their fastest lap times in a two-week Time Attack through the iRacing UI. With hundreds of colleges and universities represented in each Time Attack and a limitation on the amount of qualified drivers per school, drivers are competing not only against the greater iRacing community, but also their own classmates, for a spot on the prestigious grid.

Last Race: The Hawkeye, Steven Wilson, was dominant in his home game two weeks ago, but some late cautions set up for some varying strategy. The University of Maine at Augusta’s Parker White opted to go for the two-tire pit call, which put him out front while Wilson was relegated back to eighth. On the final lap, Wilson was able to get back to second around Calgary’s Connor Yeroschak, but White held on for his third win of the academic season.

Last Season: Charlotte Motor Speedway returns once again for the first time since the Fall Semester of the 2023-24 season. Both Logan Clampitt (Cal State Fullerton) and Garrett Lowe (UNC at Charlotte) classed the field in the last show, but it was Liberty University’s Austin Farr who took control late to win the round, his first and only win in the series to date.

Track Info: Charlotte Motor Speedway is dubbed “America’s Home For Racing.” The famed 1.5-mile D-shaped oval based in Concord, NC opened in 1960 and has managed a lot of firsts in the NASCAR community over the years, including the installation of night lighting and the opening and utilization of the infield Roval. It all stems from the fact that the track is located right around the majority of NASCAR teams and their race shops in the state.
