The 16th season of the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series kicks off on Tuesday night with the opening round of 2025 at Daytona International Speedway.

This year’s 40 best drivers are set to take on the 2.5-mile oval for 80 laps, all looking to add their name to an illustrious list of drivers that have won at the famed superspeedway. Only four-time champion Ray Alfalla has done it more than once, but other past winners include many of the series’ best, including Nick Ottinger, Zack Novak, Keegan Leahy, Bobby Zalenski, Michael Conti, and Tucker Minter.

Race coverage begins at 8 p.m. ET at eNASCAR.com/live and across iRacing social media channels. The Countdown to Green pre-race show will lead in the action 30 minutes prior, starting at 7:30 p.m. ET.

LAST RACE

Two weeks ago, the season unofficially kicked off with the 2025 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series Daytona Clash. During the special event, which featured two 10-lap heat races and a 20 lap main race, the defending eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series champion, Parker White, found himself the sole survivor of some last lap chaos, moving from seventh to first to win. White is also the most recent winner in the series, taking the checkers in dramatic fashion live at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Uptown Charlotte, scoring the finale win at Homestead-Miami Speedway over Steven Wilson, Graham Bowlin, and Bobby Zalenski.

LAST YEAR

In the 2024 season opener at Daytona International Speedway, the Kansas City Pioneers scored their first victory as a team with Wyatt Tinsley taking the win. On the final lap, Bobby Zalenski led the field on the backstretch, but heading into Turn 3 for the final time, Tinsley took a push from the 2023 series champion, Steven Wilson, allowing for the two to clear and for Tinsley to take the win, the first of his career as well.

TRACK FACTS

Known as “The World Center of Racing”, Daytona International Speedway has a deep history in many facets of American motorsport, from NASCAR and their annual Daytona 500 to IMSA and their 24-hour battle for the Rolex 24. This track also hosts Bike Week’s Daytona 200, Daytona Supercross, Daytona KartWeek between Christmas and New Year’s Day, and a host of driving school, club, and other events. Last month, the Rolex 24 at Daytona traversed the 3.56-mile road course that encompasses the infield and most of the oval. For NASCAR purposes this coming weekend, we’ll see a multitude of stock cars ripping around 200 mph consistently on the 2.5-mile high banks.

NEXT RACE

Once Daytona is in the rearview mirror, the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series will virtually travel across the country to take on Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the second round of the season. Last year, Keegan Leahy scored the final win of his illustrious career, capitalizing on late race drama between Nick Ottinger and Cody Byus to score his 13th and final win before retiring at season’s end.
