This September, the FIA SIMAGIC F4 eSports Global Championship Series arrives with 30 of the top-ranked regional competitors going against one another for a four-event, eight round season with a chance at winning a share of the $25,000 prize pool.

The Regional Tours all entered their second week of competition last week with racing at Mid-Ohio in the Americas, Oran Park for the Asia-Pacific group, and Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps for Europe. At the top of each region, the leaders stayed the same exiting Week 2.

AMERICAS REGION

Joining the conversation this week, Michael Janney stole the show with a win in the top matched Strength of Field (SoF) race, scoring the most points with 281. He didn’t compete at Road America the week before, so he’s not yet a threat for the top 10 this week. Victor Miranda followed up his opening week dominance with a runner-up in points at Mid-Ohio, with Leo Ovtcharov, Nicolás Rubilar, and Andre Castro rounding out the Top 5. Miranda maintains the points lead heading into Week 3 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. 826 members in the Americas region participated at Mid-Ohio.

ASIA-PACIFIC REGION

For the second straight week, Benjamin Roberts led the way in both the week points and the overall total. After leading the way following Suzuka, Roberts followed it up with two-top split winning performances, including the SoF race. Kody Deith also scored a win, as did Sho Kamioka, Jaidyn J Ladic, and Marcello Rivera, the top 5 overall at Oran Park in points scored. Deith moves up from 11th into the top 5 overall while Ladic moves up into the top 10. Roberts will look to maintain the points lead entering Okayama in Week 3. 1007 iRacers took part in at least one Asia/Pacific region race during the second week.

EUROPE REGION

Similarly to the other two Regions, the same name is atop the heap leaving Week 2’s events at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. The most competitive field in terms of the overall SoF, Alex Dunne was able to capitalize on another top victory with Gordon “Gordie” Mutch right behind again in second. The pair continue to lead the overall standings as well, with both drivers picking up a win through the week. Alex O’Grady, Moritz Löhner, and Ayhancan Guven2 rounded out the week’s top 5. A whopping 3851 participants took to the Belgian course last week, by far the most popular of the three regions in Week 2.
