DBOX eNASCAR International iRacing Series powered by Digital Motorsports: Season Preview
January 7th, 2022 by Chris Leone
After a successful three-race debut last year, the DBOX eNASCAR International iRacing Series powered by Digital Motorsports returns for 2022 with new partners and new tracks on the calendar. The schedule expands to five races across two continents, with a pair of ovals bookending three road course events across Canada, Belgium, and the United States. The season kicks off on Saturday at noon ET/5PM GMT from Homestead-Miami Speedway, with the action broadcast live across NASCAR and iRacing social media channels.
An expanded driver roster for 2022 once again highlights the drivers of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series, NASCAR PEAK Mexico Series, NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, and NASCAR Drive for Diversity program. Top returning drivers include NASCAR Whelen Euro Series racer Simon Pilate, who dominated last year’s opening round at Brands Hatch; NASCAR PEAK Mexico Series driver Victor Barrales Jr., who scored top five finishes in all three races last year; and NASCAR Drive for Diversity driver Rajah Caruth, who will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut later this year with Alpha Prime Racing. The newcomer list is headlined by NASCAR Pinty’s Series veteran Alex Tagliani, one of Canada’s most accomplished racers and a frequent road course racer in the NASCAR Xfinity and Camping World Truck Series over his lengthy career.

- January 8: Homestead-Miami Speedway
