On February 1st, the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup, partnered with TAG Heuer, Mobil1, and LOCTITE, will return for its seventh-straight season of top-level sim racing competition, with a $200,000 purse on the line, the overall champion pocketing $50,000. Featuring a stacked field of 30 top sim racers wheeling the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, and seven incredible venues from around the world, the stage for the 2025 season is sure to be bright.

The defending and now two-time series champion, Sebastian Job, will look to defend his crown and become the series’ first three-time champion, taking on the mantle of the #1 for the 2025 season. Two other former champions, Diogo Pinto and Jordan Caruso, will also return to the series, looking to score their second career titles by the end of it.

Those champions will have to fight off 27 other hopefuls, some of them returning from the 2024 roster, including Alejandro Sanchez, Luke McKeown, and Gustavo Ariel. There are many others also returning to the top level after not being on the roster for a few seasons, including the formidable Mitchell deJong. That’s not to say that some of the incoming rookies, such as Tristan Iglesias, William Chadwick or Beckham Jacir, won’t be threats to win out of the gate either.

Of the seven tracks on the schedule, only three are venues previously visited. 2025 begins at the World Center of Racing, Daytona International Speedway, and ends at the famed Circuit De 24 Heures Du Mans in France, two tracks returning from the 2024 schedule Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps also returns in 2025, last seen on the 2023 calendar.

The Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello, Sachenring, Thruxton Circuit, and Fuji International Speedway all join the ranks for the first time in 2025. Being the middle race of the season, the Sachenring will host this year’s Mid-Season Tournament, with the format expected at a later date.

All other races will feature the standard Sprint and Main race format we’ve seen over the years, with Qualifying setting the Sprint grid, the Sprint results setting the Main grid, and the top-eight finishers of the Sprint taking an invert for the Main start. Points will be awarded similarly as well, with up to 85 points available among the Qualifying, Sprint, and Main races.
