Rockingham makes regular season debut; International event scheduled at Interlagos

The eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series returns for its 16th season of competition in 2025, with over $500,000 in total payouts up for grabs over the course of the year, and $100,000 going to the Champion. On Monday, the 2025 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series schedule was revealed, which brings many of the same ideas that worked from the 2024 season back again through this year’s upcoming 18-race schedule.

As is customary over the last few seasons, 2025’s schedule is broken down into 14 regular season races to qualify for the eNASCAR Playoffs, followed by a three-race round of playoff races, all of which concludes with a Championship 4 finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. 10 drivers will make the eNASCAR Playoffs through the 14-race regular season by either winning a race or scoring the most points. From those 10, only four can qualify for the Championship race and a shot at $100,000.

The 14-race regular season will once again be broken up into three segments, of five, four, and five races respectively. The highest point scorer from each segment will receive an additional five playoff bonus points and a $3,000 prize bonus. On top of that, every race win is worth five playoff points, which puts 85 possible playoff bonus points on the table for the competitors to earn towards making the Championship 4.

As expected, the season kicks off with two races at Daytona International Speedway—an exhibition race on January 28th followed by the official start of the season on February 11th. Both the second and fourth races stay the same, with Las Vegas on February 25th and Richmond on March 25th, but in between that, the series will make its first trip to Brazil with racing from the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, also known as Interlagos, on March 4th. While the 2.67-mile circuit in São Paulo, Brazil is known for its place on the Formula 1 calendar, the venue is a staple on the NASCAR Brasil Sprint Race series schedule.

The final race of the first segment takes on a track that returns to the real-world NASCAR schedule for the first time since 2013, in both the NASCAR Xfinity Series and Craftsman Truck Series—Rockingham Speedway in North Carolina. The Rock, which was previously seen on the eNASCAR schedule as an All-Star race back in 2019, live on NBC Sports Network, will be one of the longer races of the upcoming season, clocking in at 200 laps to close out the first five-race stretch on April 8th. Interlagos replaces Brands Hatch from a season ago, while The Rock takes the usual spot on the schedule of Darlington Raceway.

In the second segment, four familiar tracks will return to the series, kicking things off with Talladega on April 22nd. The next race is the longest race of the season, in terms of miles, once again with 160 laps scheduled at the 1.5-mile oval in Charlotte. Nashville Superspeedway and Kansas Speedway round out the middle segment, the trio of races from Charlotte to Kansas all only separated by a week at a time on May 20th, May 27th, and June 3rd, instead of the normal two-week break in-between races. Kansas makes its return to the schedule for the first time since the 2022 season.

This schedule format returns immediately to kick off the third and final segment, with back-to-back-to-back races from Iowa, Dover, and the Chicago Street Course, three more familiar tracks all returning from last season, on June 17th, June 24th, and July 1st. Another track set to return in 2025 is the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway, for the penultimate race of the regular season and third segment on July 22nd. Replacing Pocono in the regular season finale slot is Atlanta Motor Speedway on August 5th, which moves much later into the year from previously being the third race on the 2024 schedule.

Playoff racing begins on August 19th from Michigan International Raceway. Texas Motor Speedway (September 2nd) and Phoenix Raceway (September 16th) will also adorn the eNASCAR Playoff schedule. Everything culminates into the championship finale, on October 7th, at Homestead-Miami Speedway, where the Championship 4 will battle against each other to hoist the Dale Earnhardt Jr. Cup by the end of the night, along with an earned $100,000 payday.

Returning from the 2024 season, both road course races will feature the sprint and feature race format with qualifying points given to the top eight before inverting them for the opening sprint race. Also returning in 2025 is the heat race format for short tracks, as the field will be split in half for a pair of heat races to set the grid for the feature, each heat paying out points to the top-10 finishers. There are also three fixed setup races scheduled for the Daytona Exhibition, at Talladega in April, and in July at the Chicago Street Course. All drivers will compete on the same setup as opposed to all of the other weeks with an open setup, where drivers will utilize their own custom build.

49 drivers are set to enter eNASCAR Free Agency next week, from January 8th to January 10th, with only 40 seats available in the series through the 20 official teams. The remaining drivers will be deemed Backup Drivers should any driver need a fill-in during the season. Details regarding the Free Agency period will be provided at a later date.
